Halvarson is a bold slab-serif display typeface drawn in the spirit of old college athletics.
The letters are heavy and upright, with thick square slabs anchoring every stem and a broad-shouldered build. It runs in capitals even where you would type lowercase, so a word locks together into one solid block.
You can picture it stitched across the chest of a team jacket or painted on the boards of a lakeside bowling alley.
